This delightful documentary produced with all the benefits of high definition shows us 7th and 10th Century Arabian-Muslim Andalusia as never seen before. All means were used and no expense spared to restore the magnificence of this lost civilization which left us a valuable inheritance: the art of living, the pleasure of gardens, and some fundamental technical and scientific discoveries. At the heart of the film we see the special relationship that the Arabo-Andalusians shared with nature, underlined by respect and experiment, and around which all domestic and social life was organised.
