Like many female singers in her region(Tibet), Yang du Tso practiced her voice near the torrents, rivers, rocks and valleys. Having a very large vocal range, she became a soprano. Born in Amdo, she entered her first theater company at a very young age, where she started singing and dancing. She then acquired a complete singer-dancer training, then she succeeded in making the Tibetan tradition well-known outside Tibet.
