Arabo-andalusian civilization did not produce much iconography, at least in Andalusia and North Africa. From the rich civilization of the Eastern side of Mediterranea from the 7th to 16th century, architectural elements are the only elements left : in the Cordoban Mosque and its sister the Quaraouine in Fez (Morocco), the Alambra in Granada and the Fez Medina, are shown their splendourous details.
